Amelia Whitney

Amelia Rose Whitney has been dreaming of being an artist since the fifth grade and has been developing and practicing her painting and drawing skills at every opportunity. She fell in love with art because her teacher, Mrs. Boe, reproduced Matisse’s paintings during her lessons. Amelia earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Tempe. After that, she honed her skills in China for two months. Amelia didn’t want to be left without art when she found a job, so she tried her hand at tattooing, and they found each other! She started tattooing in 2009 and shortly afterward got married and had a daughter. However, Amelia continued tattooing and started tattooing seriously in 2011 when she moved to New Jersey. Eventually, she moved back to Arizona and started working at Outside The Lines Tattoo.
