Rafael “Rockabilly Ray” Sanchez

Rafael Sanchez, also known as “Rockabilly Ray,” is an award-winning artist and the owner of Tinta Rebelde Custom in Los Angeles, California. With more than twenty-five years of experience in tattooing, he has become the leader in the number of California music bands he has tattooed. Tattooing clients from bands such as Kofte of Mad Sin, Caesar of Calavera, Cris of The Slanderin, and also members of The Triggers, Swinging Utters, and diverse other bands. Rafael’s designs are a fusion of influences, combining elements from Los Angeles street life, American traditions, a passion for rockabilly music, and his Mexican heritage, resulting in a unique style.
