Philip Hodge joined SparrowHawk Studio in 2019 as an artist-in-residence. His love for all-black and gray shapes, typefaces, and constant curiosity led him to study UX design. In the early stages of his career as a tattoo artist, Hodge was influenced by Mexican tattoo artists working in California. It was also through tattoos that he began to study UX design. When Philip isn’t working, he’s either repairing cars or riding one of his motorcycles.
