Erik Payne

Erik Payne is a tattoo artist with a lot of experience. He started his two-year apprenticeship in 1986 with Russel Myers at Electric Dragon Tattoo, which was the first and only studio in Boise at the time. After Russel was imprisoned, the management of the studio was taken over by Erik, who left right after Myers returned. He opened his first studio in 1990 and named it Inkvision Tattoo. In 1999, his first and only student was Travis Berg, who is still his reliable right-hand and life coach. Creating flyers, record covers, underground comics and customized jackets for the local punk rock scene became his guide to tattooing. Most of the tattoos they do in the tattoo studio are large works, although he also does oriental, occidental, monochrome, polychrome, religious, and sacrilegious work.
