Kane Gilland

Kane Gilland’s life was turned upside down when the pandemic forced him to leave his job, but this break allowed him to reflect on what he wanted to do with his life. It was during this period of reflection that his childhood friend Cat Wong encouraged him to pursue his passion for tattooing and move back to his hometown of Kansas City. Kane was well suited for the role, with a flair for drawing since childhood, a BFA in illustration from Columbia College in Chicago, and an illustrative realism style. In August 2020, Kane took the plunge and started getting tattoos, which led him to his dream job at Tintoretta Studio.
