Shanley

Shanley is originally from the Central Valley in California. Shanley moved to Portland in 2013 and worked in the sex industry for over a decade while also being an artist. At one point, Shanley decided to make art her main profession and entered the world of the tattoo industry. She has a unique style that focuses on heavy black work, character work, and figure drawing. Her work is inspired by her experiences in stripping and sex work. She also draws inspiration from ancient and primitive art styles. Currently, Shanley creates tattoos at Birdhouse Tattoo SE and specializes in illustrative, blackwork, and bold styles.
