Summer Hatfield

Summer Hatfield is a creative artist at Lady Luck Tattoo and Martian Arts Tattoo Studio in Portland, Oregon. She specializes in blackwork, linework, and illustrative styles, particularly enjoying drawing people, animals, and nature. Summer is a jack of all trades. She has painted murals, designed band flyers and record album covers, created props for films and theater, designed sets, worked in carpentry, drawn storyboards, and shot and edited videos. Additionally, Summer teaches drawing, painting, 2D design, 3D design, Portfolio Preparation, and Art Appreciation at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon, and at Clark Community College in Vancouver, Washington. She holds a BFA from Portland State University, a Master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from the University of Oregon, and a Master’s degree in Art Education from Portland State University.
