Aurora “Rori” Jordan

Aurora Jordan, also known as “Rori” is an Indigenous, LGBTQ+, disabled, and neurodivergent tattoo artist at Atomic Tattoo and Piercing in Huntsville, Alabama. She moved to Alabama from Denver, Colorado, in 2002. Before COVID-19, Aurora had her studio at Lowe Mill in the Flying Monkey Arts Center. Her art is influenced by Larry Elmore, Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, and Julie Bell. Now, Aurora focuses heavily on pagan and mythological art styles, creating neo-traditional, illustrative, and her own Tribalistic primitive styles.
