Shamil

Shamil was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. With pressure from his family to pursue a career in medicine, he chose Optometry and after graduating from Brooklyn College had an epiphany that what truly excited him will always be intertwined with art. Tattooing integrated both science & creativity, for which he became immersed into fully becoming one of America’s best artists.
